As you may know, FreshBooks is a cloud-based accounting app designed specifically around the needs of invoicing, expensing, time tracking, and payments for small businesses. We are happy to release our latest feature that helps users tie their FreshBooks and QuickBooks Online accounts together in order to streamline the bookkeeping process even further.
With our one-of-a-kind email uploader, users are able to store, track, share a copy of their FreshBooks invoices and post the transactions directly to QuickBooks Online. Here are 2 ways to use this new feature:
Upload from your Email Client
If you receive invoices from your suppliers via FreshBooks, simply forward a copy of the FreshBooks email to our App using your unique LedgerDocs email address.
Our technology will fetch this invoice data and instantly upload it to LedgerDocs. This uploaded document can then be pushed into QuickBooks Online as a transaction. See our QuickBooks Online Integration in action.
Upload from your FreshBooks Account
If you use FreshBooks to send invoices out to your customers and want to store a copy, include your LedgerDocs email address as one of the recipients. A copy of the outgoing invoice will now appear in LedgerDocs, either to share with your bookkeeper or for future reference. You will also be able to use our QuickBooks Online integration with this uploaded document.
