Select the company that you would like to set up bank fetching for and navigate to the Bank Fetching tab. You can search the available banks on this screen.

After completing the bank account authentication, you can go ahead and pull the first statement and set the date for the monthly automated fetch. It’s important to mention that with LedgerDocs Bank Fetching feature you are able to fetch selectively only those accounts which you really need.
The ‘’Fetch statements now’’ button allows you to fetch up to 12 previous statements at any given time (if the statements are available).

Once the fetching is complete, the statement will be saved to the “Fetched Statements” folder within your company. (Note: “Fetched Statements” folder is by default only accessible by the owner of the company in LedgerDocs. To give access to other members, click here for a text guide)
If a bank account that you connected has the 2 factor authentication enabled, than in order to successfully fetch the statements, please add your bookkeeper’s cell phone number to the list of numbers used for the 2 Factor Authentication. This way, your bookkeeper will be able to fetch statements when needed without having access to your bank account or having to ask you to send them.
The steps to add a phone number for the 2 Factor Authentication will be slightly different from bank to bank but for TD Canada Trust, a phone number can be added by navigating to: Profile & Setting > Security Settings > Security Phone Numbers > Edit > Add Another Number, as shown below:

Happy Fetching 🙂
